Product description
A groundbreaking collaboration that transcends traditional spirit categories, this extraordinary release is part of the acclaimed 2 Masters project. This initiative brings Dictador’s exceptional aged rum into the hands of the world’s finest cellar masters, each an expert in their respective craft, to further refine and elevate its character.
For this edition, carefully selected 1976 vintage rum was entrusted to Domaine de Laballe, renowned for its mastery of Armagnac. Under the meticulous care of Cellar Master Cyril Laudet, the spirit underwent a unique finishing process in Gascony, France, where it absorbed new layers of complexity and depth from Laballe’s expertly curated casks. The result is an exquisite fusion of Dictador’s heritage with the finesse of French craftsmanship.

Tasting Notes:
Nose
Great complexity and soft vanilla extract, crème caramel, almond butter, banana leaf esters, punctuated by dried apples and figs, as well as powerful phenols.
Palate
It expands and coats the palate with rich dark chocolate, mocha and toasted pecans as an overlay to the more expansive sea-salt caramel and maple bar, going into a long supple finish that lingers with nice touches of caramel apple and high-grade marzipan.
Finish
Dark and brooding mahogany with brass accents, going out into a fine light golden rim with high viscosity and nice ‘legs’ showing in the glass.
